Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Did I have you at bacon wrapped? I would think so! These bacon wrapped green beans are the perfect side dish to any holiday (or just dinner in general!). They are really easy to make, super tasty, and look really impressive. They’re the perfect addition to dress up any meal. The green beans get a little crispy on the ends and are full of delicious bacon flavor. We had these for dinner tonight, and with a mouth full of beans, Brett turned to me with an endearing look and said “I love these bacon green beans.” Add these to your next holiday table, and I promise you’re sure to wow your guests! Or just make them for your husband, and I promise he will thank you.

  • 1 bag green beans
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp unsalted cajun seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Wash and trim the green beans.

  3. Drizzle the green beans with olive oil. Add the garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix.

  4. Wrap 12-15 green beans in a piece of bacon. Place the green bean bundle, seam down, on a wire baking rack placed on top of an aluminum foil lined baking sheet. (This will make for a really easy clean up!)

  5. Bake the green bean bundles for 30 minutes, or until the beans are tender and the bacon is crispy. The cook time will vary depending on how big your green beans are and thick your bacon slices are.

  6. If you wish, turn the oven on high broil for the last couple of minutes to get the edges of the beans and bacon extra crisp.
